Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding its North West team to support a major nuclear programme. We seek a Senior Risk Manager / Risk Lead to identify, assess and manage risks across multi‑million pound projects, on‑site 3 days/week in West Burton, with a focus on robust risk processes and stakeholder engagement.

You will drive risk workshops, maintain risk registers, perform QRA, and deliver risk reporting using Safran, @risk and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Professional risk management experience across the whole project lifecycle.
• Nuclear sector experience desirable but not essential.
• Able to adjust risk strategies and communicate complex risk information clearly.
• Familiar with risk standards (ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA).
• Risk qualifications such as MoR or APM Risk Certificate Level 2 are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement risk management processes tailored to the client’s needs and align with best practice.
• Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts.
• Create and maintain risk registers and risk information.
• Challenge risk data to improve quality of risk information.
• Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes.
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessments for cost and schedule impacts.
• Produce timely risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Project Controls to align project information.
• Engage with the supply chain to understand risks they present to clients.
