Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager / Risk Lead to identify, assess and manage risks for a high-profile nuclear programme in the North West. The role combines hands-on risk delivery with process improvement and stakeholder engagement to support on-time, on-budget project outcomes.

You will lead risk workshops, maintain risk registers and drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering risk management across projects or programmes.
• Ability to design risk processes tailored to client needs.
• Experience with risk registers, mitigation actions and workshops.
• Familiar with quantitative risk assessment (QRA) for cost/schedule.
• Proficiency with Safran, @risk or similar tools and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage risks across projects and programmes of varying scale.
• Lead risk process improvements and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and reporting outputs.
• Drive mitigation actions and monitor post-mitigation positions.
• Conduct QRA and analyze cost and schedule impacts.
• Produce risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Project Controls and supply chain to capture risk.
• Support risk strategies in regulated or capital-intensive environments.
