Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to support the Energy and Natural Resources division in the North West, working across diverse projects with a nuclear client. You will capture risk data, assess threats and opportunities, and maintain risk registers while ensuring delivery within time and cost targets.

You will design risk processes, run workshops, and produce risk reports, using tools like Safran, @risk, PRA, and Power BI. Presence in Warrington three days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Professional risk management experience across the project lifecycle.
• Nuclear sector experience is desirable but not required.
• Ability to adapt risk strategies and processes to changing conditions.
• Excellent communication to convey risk to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with risk management systems such as Safran, @risk and PRA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement risk management processes aligned to client needs.
• Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts.
• Create and maintain risk registers and related data.
• Challenge risk information to improve data quality and robustness.
• Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes.
• Assist in developing measurable management responses post-mitigation.
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule impacts.
• Produce timely risk reporting using MS PowerPoint/Word/Excel and Power BI.
• Collaborate with other Project Controls disciplines and supply chain.
