Kintec Global Recruitment is recruiting a Business Development Specialist in Reading for a 12-month contract with potential extension. You will identify and advance strategic growth opportunities across refining and petrochemical value chains, supported by market insight, economic analysis and strong stakeholder coordination.

The role requires developing business cases, overseeing economic models, and coordinating with FEED, EPC and construction teams to ensure decision readiness and value

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering and 10–15 years of Oil and Gas experience.
• Experience in developing business cases with market outlook, economics and risk analysis.
• Strong English communication and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across functions.

Responsabilités

• Identify, screen and prioritise strategic opportunities aligned with strategy and value.
• Develop business cases with market outlook, commercial structure and key assumptions.
• Manage economic models and coordinate with project teams on feedstock pricing, capital costs and pricing impacts.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, NDAs and third‑party proposals ensuring terms reflect in models.
• Evaluate partnership models, feedstock options and offtake structures to support decisions.
• Oversee optimization studies to improve capital efficiency and value delivery.
• Define commercial terms and Heads of Agreement requirements at project gates.
