Job summary

Eileen Richards Recruitment is seeking an Employee Relations Consultant in Leicester with hybrid working. The role offers a salary of about £50,000 p.a. DOE. You will partner with business leaders, manage ER cases, lead change initiatives and coach managers to ensure fair, compliant decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong ER experience in a fast-paced private sector, knowledge of UK employment law, and the ability to use MI to inform decisions. Hybrid role with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Significant Employee Relations experience in a complex private sector environment.
• Experience supporting organisational change, restructures, redeployment and consultation.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Proven ability to coach and influence managers at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with MI usage to identify trends and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide ER advice across the aligned area.
• Manage a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters.
• Lead organisational change initiatives: restructures, redeployment and design projects.
• Coach managers to ensure fair, consistent and commercially balanced decisions.
• Offer expert guidance on legislation, policy and best practices.
• Support consultation processes with unions and forums when appropriate.
• Analyse ER data to deliver MI and reduce risk; identify process improvements.
• Build relationships to support commercial objectives and people strategy.
• Ensure outcomes for customers and colleagues remain central to decisions.
