Job summary

ER Recruitment are partnering with a nationally-known business to appoint an Employee Relations Consultant in Leicester, hybrid working. You will provide expert ER advice across your aligned business area and manage a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.

The role leads organisational change initiatives such as restructures, redeployment and consultation, coaching managers to ensure fair, commercially balanced decisions while complying with UK

Qualifications

• Significant Employee Relations experience within a complex, fast-paced private sector organisation.
• Experience supporting organisational change, restructures, redeployment and consultation processes.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and ER best practice.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide commercially focused Employee Relations advice.
• Manage a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters.
• Lead and support organisational change initiatives including restructures, consultation processes, redeployment and OD projects.
• Coach and influence managers to ensure fair, commercially balanced decisions.
• Provide expert guidance on employment legislation, policy and best practice.
• Support collective and individual consultation processes with Trade Unions and colleague forums.
• Analyse ER data and trends, producing MI and recommendations to reduce business risk.
• Identify opportunities to improve people processes, policies and ways of working.
• Build trusted relationships across the business supporting commercial objectives and people strategy.
• Ensure customer and colleague outcomes remain at the heart of decisions.
