Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland invites applications for an Employee Relations Partner based in Bridgwater or Stroud, with hybrid working 2-3 days on site. The 12-month secondment/fixed-term contract is full-time, with a 40-hour week and potential part-time arrangements.

You will support managers on long-term absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law, coaching managers and driving best practice across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing employee relations matters end-to-end.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships across management levels.
• Strong data analysis to support engagement and risk mitigation.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Advocate a resolution-focused culture to improve business outcomes.
• Coordinate with Site HRBP and Legal Counsel on ER issues.
• Coach and influence managers on ER topics; build knowledge and confidence.
• Support training of managers on ER roles and responsibilities in delivering ER processes.
• Escalate high-risk cases to Head of HR/HRBP and Legal Counsel and determine solutions.
• Support Legal Counsel in preparation for employment tribunal cases.
• Provide data insights on people trends and develop improvement strategies.
• Develop and apply people policies to improve the people experience and mitigate risk.
