Job summary

Staffordshire University invites applications for an experienced Electrical Services, Design and Standards Manager. You will own electrical standards, governance and asset plans across a complex estate, ensuring safety, compliance and resilience.

Reporting to the Head of Estates and Facilities Management, you will lead the electrical engineering function and shape the future operating model for electrical services within the university environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing electrical infrastructure within a large and complex organisation.
• Experience operating as an Electrical Duty Holder, Authorised Person or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical compliance, governance and asset management.
• Proven experience developing teams, improving processes and driving service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the University's electrical engineering function and act as Electrical Duty Holder.
• Develop electrical standards, maintenance strategies and asset investment plans.
• Govern and assure all electrical systems across the estate for safety and resilience.
• Drive transformation, smarter ways of working and enhanced customer experience.
