Job summary

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional health and safety qualification.
Strong understanding of UK environmental, health and safety legislation.
Proven experience managing compliance programmes, regulatory inspections and audits.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience supporting operational excellence, capital projects and business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the site's EHS strategy in alignment with divisional objectives.
Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders on EHS risks and requirements.
Integrate EHS considerations into operational plans and growth initiatives.
Lead, coach and develop the site EHS organisation.
Embed EHS within manufacturing, R&D and support functions.
Lead risk assessment programmes and incident investigations.
Monitor and report EHS performance metrics to leadership.
