Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for Digital, ICT and technology-enabled services. You will work with Digital Services, clinical teams and senior stakeholders to deliver value, governance and compliant contracts.

You will develop sourcing strategies, manage complex exercises and advise budget holders. A relevant procurement qualification and degree are expected, with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of managing procurement exercises and contracts.
• Knowledge of Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and commercial activities for Digital, ICT and technology-enabled spend.
• Carry out tenders in line with regulations and financial instructions.
• Develop procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships.
• Provide professional advice on procurement of goods, services and contracts.
• Represent the board on national procurement panels and liaise with NSS National Procurement.
