Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment seeks an experienced Procurement Specialist with strong Digital Health / EPR expertise for a senior interim role within an NHS Trust. You will lead sourcing, contracting and category strategy for digital health systems, equipment and services, aligning with transformation plans and ICS partners.

You will manage high-value spend, drive savings, ensure compliance, and provide expert commercial guidance on complex digital health projects.

Qualifications

• MCIPS qualification or equivalent public sector procurement background.
• Experience in NHS/public sector procurement, especially digital health or EPR.
• Ability to manage high-value sourcing and contracting initiatives.
• Proven stakeholder engagement at senior clinical, digital, and executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and contracting for digital health systems, equipment and services.
• Develop category strategy and align with transformation plans.
• Support project managers across the Trust and ICS partners.
• Create tendering and renewal plans with identified savings.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier performance via SLAs and KPIs.
• Advise on procurement strategy, risk and compliance for complex digital health products.
