Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join the Group Corporate Development team in London. The role supports strategic growth initiatives, mergers and partnerships, and evaluates acquisition opportunities to advance long-term strategy.

You will work with senior leaders, perform financial analyses, prepare briefing papers, and manage due diligence across global projects while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), CFA or equivalent preferred but not essential.
• Experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity or similar financial role.
• Experience in insurance or healthcare beneficial but not essential.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across different parts of the business.
• Organised, flexible and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic analysis and provide insights on corporate development activity to senior leaders.
• Prepare briefing papers and presentations for senior management including CEO, CFO and Group Corporate Development Director.
• Support mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnership opportunities across the Group.
• Evaluate and deliver strategic initiatives that support growth ambitions.
• Carry out business valuation and financial analysis for potential investment opportunities.
• Assess impact of opportunities on key business and financial measures.
• Support financial due diligence and coordinate wider due diligence workstreams.
• Work with teams across Bupa to support corporate development projects and transactions.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support additional projects as needs evolve.
