Job summary

Schroders is seeking a proactive Corporate Development Manager to drive the firm’s growth through M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments. You will own defined workstreams, partner with senior stakeholders, and coordinate internal and external advisers in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong analytical capability, judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining governance and high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, and M&A lifecycle.
• Experience in corporate development or investment banking beneficial.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver discrete workstreams across corporate development activity, including M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments, from initial assessment through execution to completion.
• Develop and evaluate strategic business cases, including target/partner screening, commercial assessment, and risk considerations.
• Manage transaction processes and workplans, ensuring governance, pace, and quality of outputs; engage with counterparties.
