Job summary
Willmott Dixon is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to shape, fund and deliver development projects within our Development Solutions team. You will provide strategic commercial leadership while remaining hands-on with appraisals, contract reviews and negotiations across national projects.
You will leverage a broad funding network, report to boards, and collaborate with Finance, Construction and regional teams to ensure financial viability, risk management and timely delivery while
Qualifications
- Degree or substantial relevant experience in a related discipline.
- Senior commercial responsibility for complex development projects with accountability for viability, negotiated terms, risk and financial outcomes.
- Experience negotiating development, joint venture, land and funding agreements and instructing legal advisers.
- Strong development appraisal, financial modelling and cash flow skills.
Responsibilities
- Convert priority opportunities into approved, contracted and funded projects with risk management.
- Deliver targets for development fees, profit, cash collection and returns with transparent reporting.
- Utilise your funding network to secure project funding on approved terms and timescales.
- Deliver monthly commercial reports and board papers reconciled with Finance and explain variances.
