Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in the UK is offering a Demand Planner role in a hybrid setup with two days on-site at our Nottingham/Alfreton offices. You will balance customer needs with operational efficiency by collaborating with Supply Planning and other stakeholders to produce a reliable forecast.

We seek strong analytical ability and planning experience, plus proficiency in forecasting, reporting and data visualisation tools such as Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning or forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends and insights.
• Analyse forecast performance, identify variances and trends, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
• Collect, validate and interpret data from multiple sources to ensure forecasting integrity.
• Collaborate with Category Managers, Supply Planning and stakeholders to build consensus forecasts and communicate updates.
• Produce actionable reports and present insights to stakeholders, driving process improvements.
