Job summary

Valeo Foods UK in Leeds is seeking a Demand Planner to own forecasting for a defined customer and product set. You will develop forecast models, maintain MI, and liaise with Commercial and SOP teams to drive supply alignment.

The role requires strong analytical ability, excellent communication, and experience in FMCG supply chains, with advanced Excel skills. Hybrid working 2–3 days on site in the Leeds area, plus pension and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a Demand Planner role is essential.
• Experience in FMCG supply chain preferred.
• Broad knowledge of forecasting, distribution, and inventory control.
• Maths or Business qualifications an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an 18‑month rolling forecast across SKUs and customers.
• Review sales history, identify demand drivers, and develop forecasts.
• Collaborate with Commercial to ensure forecast accuracy and IBP alignment.
• Support inventory strategies and liaise with production planning to optimize service levels.
• Prepare reports and KPIs for the demand planning process.
