Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe seeks a seasoned Project Director to lead strategic client engagements, manage large-scale programmes, and drive governance, risk mitigation, and delivery excellence across complex environments.

You will act as a key liaison with executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and project integrity while guiding the delivery team and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Effectively manages large and diverse teams, while carrying additional Hitachi business leadership accountabilities.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale, multi-million pound implementation programmes within complex organisational environments.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives within both Hitachi and client organisations.

Responsibilities

• Engage client executives on strategic projects and governance
• Identify strategic risks to projects and oversee their mitigation
• Oversee quality of work orders and change requests, proposing enhancements
• Approve project deliverables and challenge content for accuracy and completeness
• Represent the Hitachi Solutions Delivery Team in prospect meetings with governance discussions
• Articulate reports to client executives and communicate key messages clearly
