Job summary

Capita is seeking a Collective Training Needs Analyst to shape training across the Army's collective training system. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days on-site in Warminster, and requires UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis and delivering practical solutions.
• Knowledge of DSAT or similar training design frameworks.
• Experience applying JSP 822, ADDIE, or equivalent methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into outputs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and training management systems such as DTMS or JTIMS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse training, safety and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and actionable insights.
• Collect, validate and maintain data from multiple sources to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reports and visualisations to support senior decision-making and readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and better reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical outputs.
• Act as a subject matter expert, advising on analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
• Mentor colleagues and promote high standards of analytical quality and continuous improvement.
• Present findings clearly through reports, presentations and briefings with data security in mind.
