Job summary

ScottishPower, part of the Iberdrola Group, is seeking an Agency Manager to lead external Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs) across Blantyre and Wrexham, with a focus on compliant and effective collections and warrant execution to maximise cash recovery.

You will manage tenders, monitor performance, and collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Procurement to deliver contractual and regulatory requirements while protecting our brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing third-party suppliers and commercial contracts.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to analyse complex performance data.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end debt collection processes and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise the performance of external Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs).
• Allocate accounts to DCAs to maximise collections and warrants.
• Monitor DCA performance and drive improvements.
• Manage procurement tender processes for contracts and strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal, Data Protection and Compliance to meet requirements.
• Conduct on-site reviews and address under-performance.
• Ensure compliance with Debt Collection Guidance and data protection standards.
• Forecast, control and monitor budgets and advise on cost-benefit impacts.
• Support operations by sharing insights from DCA processes.
