Job summary

Barclays' Chief Data Office is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who combines strong data literacy, architecture awareness, and process redesign expertise with a track record of delivering complex change in large financial services organisations. You will translate strategic objectives into sustainable outcomes across data governance, architecture and engineering teams.

The role is Glasgow-based and operates within a SAFe delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Proven business analysis experience delivering large-scale transformations in financial services.
• Experience in SAFe environment with PI planning and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong data management, governance, lineage and regulatory data knowledge.
• Experience leading business process redesign and operating model development.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, architects and data professionals.
• Analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements requiring change.
• Develop requirements addressing problems and opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet needs and expectations.
• Support creation of business cases justifying investments.
• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
• Prepare progress reports to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Design operational and process designs within the agreed scope.
• Support change management activities and traceability for embeddings.
