Job summary

Barclays in Glasgow seeks a Data Analyst to transform data into a strategic asset for the bank. You will build and maintain data pipelines, warehouses and lakes to enable trusted data access and advanced analytics.

Ideal candidates will have strong data engineering foundations, experience in a banking stack, and proficiency with Agile/Safe practices to deliver scalable, secure data platforms across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Eliciting, validating and documenting BRDs/FRDs/user stories in Agile contexts.
• Domain knowledge across banking stack: Core Banking, Onboarding, Payments, FX, Liquidity and Cash Management.
• Experience with SAFe program events and writing epics, features and stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data architectures, pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy ML models and support analytics use cases.
• Provide risk-aware data solutions ensuring security and compliance across the data platform.
• Guide stakeholders with data-driven insights and support decision making.
