Datatech Analytics is seeking a Data Architect to shape the architecture behind a major transformation. The role sits in a hybrid UK office environment, with attendance once or twice a month.

You will engage across the business, influence senior stakeholders and design data models to drive better services and outcomes. The candidate will move from an on‑prem SQL environment with Tableau toward Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, balancing value, cost and long‑term sustainability while ensuring data

Qualifications

• Proven data architect with strong modelling expertise.
• Experience with SQL Server and data architecture in reporting environments.
• Experience implementing or migrating to modern data platforms (Fabric/Databricks) is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and executive-level stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the data architecture and roadmap.
• Design analytical, semantic and reporting data models.
• Create data maps and data-flow documentation.
• Shape migration from legacy systems to a modern data platform.
• Ensure data is secure, accessible, reliable and governed.
• Translate business priorities into practical architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics, Infrastructure, Architecture and Security teams.
