Job summary

Jefferson Frank is partnering with a private equity-backed organisation in the UK on a greenfield data transformation. The Data Architect will own the data platform strategy, design scalable Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environments built on Microsoft Fabric OneLake and Databricks, with governance and security at the core.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders and technology leadership to translate business goals into technical solutions, drive adoption of best practices, and deliver

Qualifications

• Enterprise data warehouse architecture and design requirements.
• Modern Lakehouse Architectures using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL and data modelling approaches.
• Knowledge of data governance, security and access management.

We're partnering with a highly successful, private equity-backed organisation that is embarking on a major data transformation journey.

The business has recognised data as a strategic asset and has recently invested in leadership and technology to create a modern, enterprise-wide data capability. As part of this greenfield transformation, they're looking for an experienced Data Architect to take ownership of the organisation's data platform strategy and design.

This is a role offering autonomy, visibility with senior stakeholders and the chance to make a lasting impact across the entire business.

As the Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and governing the enterprise data platform, creating a scalable and secure foundation for reporting, analytics, AI, and future innovation.

Working closely with executive stakeholders and technology leadership, you'll define the architectural vision while driving the implementation of a modern Lakehouse and Data Warehouse environment built on Microsoft and Databricks technologies.
