THX Ltd in England is seeking a Credit Control Specialist to protect the company’s financial health. You will own a ledger, liaise with contractor clients to keep payments on track, and contribute to risk decisions, including insurer and solicitor interactions.

This role goes beyond collections with a focus on process improvement and comprehensive credit risk management. You will manage invoices, statements, and disputes, while building strong relationships with THX customers and supporting the

Qualifications

• : Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
• : Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• : Confident with Excel and accounting systems (Sage 50 a plus).
• : Independent and team-friendly work style; strong written and verbal communication.
• : Proactive, adaptable approach with process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• : Processing sales invoices and issuing monthly statements.
• : Chasing overdue accounts by phone and email, resolving queries.
• : Reducing debtor days against targets.
• : Negotiating payment plans and progressing legal proceedings when needed.
• : Maintaining records of credit reports and limits.
• : Posting and allocating customer receipts and liaising with insurers/solicitors on legal cases.
