Job summary

Fortescue Metals Group is seeking a C&P Coordinator to join the Contracts & Procurement team in the United Kingdom. The role supports all contracting and procurement activities for the Catapult programme, ensuring goods and services are sourced cost-effectively, transparently and in compliance.

You will coordinate purchase orders, support supplier prequalification, NDA/T&C execution, and develop supplier performance data with QA.

Qualifications

• Experience in C&P within motorsports or a related industry sector.
• Team player with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and adopt new ways of working.
• Basic knowledge of contract law, C&P principles and negotiation techniques.
• Basic pre and post contract experience.
• Technical and / or commercial education to a minimum of degree level; CIPS membership advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages, and drive the work to ensure successful outcomes.
• Flexible, problem solving mindset and willingness to work outside of comfort zone.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and updating of the catapult CSR/PSR, aligned with programme schedules and budget requirements.
• Support the implementation of sourcing strategies for the Catapult programme.
• Coordinate and support all planned purchase orders for the catapult programme.
• Source ad hoc requirements from requisitions and the procurement list.
• Support activities in supplier identification, prequalification and shortlisting.
• Coordinate the NDA’s and T’s & C’s with suppliers.
• Support the preparation of supplier performance data with QA team for development plans.
• Foster strategic supplier relationships to ensure continuous supply, innovation and cost optimization.
• Develop supplier performance measures with QA and logistics.
• Identify and evaluate key risks at contract formation.
