Job summary
Fortescue seeks a Sourcing Specialist to join the Contracts & Procurement team in the UK. You will manage contracting and procurement for the Catapult Formula E programme, delivering cost-effective sourcing, RFQs and supplier onboarding to support project timelines.
You will lead negotiations, supplier performance and risk management, building strong relationships while driving supplier cost optimization and adherence to compliance standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in direct procurement, technical buying, expediting and purchasing.
- Experience in motorsport or related industry preferred.
- Strong contract law knowledge related to services and commercial agreements.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple packages and travel internationally.
Responsibilities
- Manage contracting and procurement activities to support efficient delivery.
- Execute planned POs and deliver RFQ, sourcing and DFX for the programme.
- Identify and shortlist suppliers, prequalification and NDA/T&Cs.
- Negotiate terms and conditions and award suppliers based on total cost of ownership.
- Develop supplier performance measures with QA and logistics.
- Generate management reports on contracts and procurement status.
