Job summary

Newgate is seeking a hands-on Contracts Manager in Newark, UK. Reporting to the COO, you will lead a team of engineers and coordinators, manage all contracts, coordinate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of installations and project management.
• Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Clear communication style and ability to partner with all levels of the business.
• Able to motivate and manage in a proactive manner.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiar with ERP systems (Sage, Oracle, SAP).
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is advantageous.
• SMSTS / CSCS certifications held.
• Good understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
• Willingness to travel and UK Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer relationships and professionalism at all times.
• Process contracts diligently within time scales, costs, and client instructions.
• Chair weekly production meetings and coordinate with departments to meet timelines.
• Liaise with clients and engineers daily for updates and problem solving.
• Update contract master spreadsheets and schedules with installations and engineer allocations.
• Monitor site installations and attendance daily; organise cover as needed.
• Oversee invoicing and ensure timely financial tasks.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies.
