Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland in Birmingham (with roles in Leeds or Manchester) is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Strategic Contracts team. You will handle a range of contracts for private and public sector clients, from day-to-day matters to large-scale outsourcings, involving multinational projects.

The role requires 2-6 years PQE, strong drafting and analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple transactions with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years PQE in private practice with solid contract law foundation
• Knowledge of different contract types and key commercial issues
• Experience with TUPE, data protection, competition law, or similar

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a national team advising on high-value, strategic contracts and day-to-day matters
• Collaborate with private and public sector clients across sectors; local, national and international
• Provide commercial support for transactions handled by corporate and real estate teams
• Build relationships across practice groups and offices; learn from partners
• Contribute to client briefings/articles and help with business development
