Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Commercial Contracts team. The role covers work from day-to-day matters to large, multinational outsourcings, with a focus on strategic contracts and data privacy.

The position can be based in Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham and offers exposure to national and international matters. You will develop drafting and negotiation skills, manage multiple transactions, support business development, and mentor junior colleagues

Qualifications

• 2–6 years PQE in private practice focusing on contract law.
• Solid drafting skills and technical capability.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and tight deadlines.
• Understanding of TUPE, data protection or competition law is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of commercial contracts and governance.
• Support private and public sector clients across local, national and international matters.
• Contribute to large outsourcings and multinational projects.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and participate in BD.
• Develop client briefings/articles.
