Job summary

We are Eversheds Sutherland, a global law firm with offices in Birmingham and across the UK and internationally. We are recruiting for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Strategic Contracts team.

The role involves advising on high value and long term strategic arrangements, working with private and public sector clients locally, nationally and internationally, and supporting transactions across corporate and real estate teams.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years PQE with a solid foundation in contract law.
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Advising on a wide range of matters from high value, long term strategic arrangements to standard form contracts.
• Collaborating with private and public sector clients across multiple sectors locally, nationally and internationally.
• Providing commercial support for transactions undertaken by corporate and real estate teams.
• Building relationships with colleagues across teams and offices and learning from partners.
• Participating in structured business development activities, including client briefings/articles.
