Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is hiring a Contract and Framework Development Manager in Glasgow. You will lead commercial strategy for framework agreements, work with engineering and procurement teams to shape tender solutions, and oversee end‑to‑end tender activities from pre-market engagement to contract mobilisation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, managing or supporting framework agreements, service contracts or major commercial arrangements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Experience supporting tender, procurement or commercial processes.
• Ability to interpret complex commercial information and make informed recommendations.
• Understanding of NEC and/or other standard forms of contract.
• Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Procurement or similar background.
• Professional qualification such as MCIPS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of commercial and contractual strategies for new framework agreements and service contracts.
• Translate business requirements into robust tender solutions with operational, engineering and procurement teams.
• Support end‑to‑end tender activities including pre market engagement and contract award recommendations.
• Analyse contract performance to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, value and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships across SP Energy Networks and contractors.
• Present business cases, reports and recommendations to drive decisions.
• Support contractor mobilisation and successful implementation of new agreements.
• Drive continuous improvement across the framework portfolio and ED2 objectives.
• Identify and manage commercial risks to ensure safe and effective delivery.
