Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Contract & Change Manager to oversee the shared services contractual arrangements within Defra Group. The role focuses on contract governance, supplier engagement, change management, audits, and ensuring obligations are met.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate change activity, and advise on contractual risks and dependencies to support strategic objectives and transformation initiatives.

• Expertise in contractual matters and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance contract management across shared services arrangements with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate change management activities, including governance and RFC processes.
• Lead negotiations and decision-making in multi-stakeholder environments to align with strategic priorities.
• Oversee contract audit and assurance, ensuring governance and compliance on findings and actions.
• Collaborate with corporate services and government partners to reflect evolving business needs in contracts.
• Provide expert guidance on contractual, governance and supplier management issues.
