Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey in the UK is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead high-value construction projects. You will manage tender strategies, procurement schedules, subcontractor procurement, and ensure NEC contracts compliance, while guiding the PQS and site teams to deliver on time and budget.

The role requires experience in construction project management, CSCS, SMSTS, and asbestos awareness. You will work within our collaborative culture, drive safety, quality, and value across sectors,

Qualifications

Strong project management experience, preferably in construction.
Ability to manage tender prelims and strategic pricing.
Experience with procurement schedules and subcontractor procurement.

Responsibilities

Understand contract requirements and tender pricing strategy.
Develop and implement procurement schedule with PQS.
Lead subcontractor procurement and on-time appointments.
Conduct regular budget and cost/value reviews; understand NEC contracts.
Guide and support PQS; manage project programme and construction schedule.
Oversee snagging, information release, CDM compliance, and on-site safety briefings.
Develop site quality management plans and ensure compliance.
