Job summary

Zurich is hiring a Senior Compliance Business Partner to join the Advisory Services team. This hybrid role requires collaboration with senior managers and a focus on proactive, insight-led compliance support aligned with FCA rules and Zurich’s risk appetite.

You will shape decisions, deliver clear written guidance, and promote a One Compliance approach across Group functions while balancing prudence with pragmatic risk management. Flexible hours and part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services compliance/advisory.
• Ability to shape decisions with credible challenge and second line independence.
• Proven ability to connect regulatory requirements with business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Be the Primary Compliance Business Partner: build trusted relationships with senior managers across the MFU, providing proactive insight and decision-ready guidance.
• Bring Enterprise Insight: understand strategic priorities and customer journeys to anticipate compliance risks and shape solutions for sustainable growth.
• Champion Compliance Standards: apply Zurich's Compliance Risk Universe and FCA expectations with proportionate, commercially aware guidance.
• Shape the House View: collaborate with SMEs to develop clear, consistent compliance positions on emerging issues.
• Deliver Decision Ready Compliance Advice: produce clear written notes for executives and governance forums with options and recommendations.
• Role Model Collaboration: support peers and foster a One Compliance approach across Group functions.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: identify and implement improvements to methodologies and processes.
