Job summary

FCE Bank plcis seeking a standout Compliance Manager to lead advisory and assurance capabilities, reporting to the Head of Compliance & MLRO. You will shape strategy, strengthen frameworks, and champion a proactive, commercial compliance culture across the bank.

You will own the Compliance Risk Register and deliver a best-in-class Monitoring Programme, influencing governance and senior decision-making. This is a high-impact leadership role at Basildon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• ICA qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams in compliance.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks like Consumer Duty and SM&CR.

Responsibilities

• Own the Compliance Risk Register and monitoring programme.
• Lead and develop a team of compliance professionals.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to embed compliance into business decisions.
• Shape regulatory frameworks including Consumer Duty, SM&CR and Vendor Management.
• Represent the function at executive forums and lead regulatory change initiatives.
