Job summary

Orbit Group is recruiting a Community Investment & Partnerships Lead on a fixed term contract to March 2028, with agile working based out of Coventry. You will develop Local Place Plans supporting the Thriving Community strategy, building partnerships in the Midlands and delivering customer-focused outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have charity/public sector or housing association experience, strong relationship skills and a strategic approach to service improvement, data use and partnerships

Qualifications

• Awareness and experience of customer engagement theory and practice.
• Experience in design, commissioning and implementation of local service delivery based on identified need, including securing external funding.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordinating and overseeing delivery of local activity within a defined geographical area.
• Work with customers, partners and Orbit teams to co-design and commission projects meeting identified needs.
• Support Community Hubs delivery and reporting of impact on projects and activities in the area.
• Manage customer journey into support, including Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) and tenancy sustainment.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Support management of Community Coaches caseload, ensuring safeguarding and performance.
• Manage local budget forecasting and value-for-money for commissioned projects.
• Drive change initiatives across your area to enable service offerings and customer choice.
