Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Communications Lead (Band 6) on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to support digital projects within the Digital Services and Communications Teams.

You will develop engaging internal and external communications, coordinate stakeholder sessions, and produce clear materials across channels, helping ensure alignment with Trust priorities and NHS guidelines.

Qualifications

Experience of working within the NHS.
Working knowledge of the M365 Suite (Outlook, Exchange, MS Teams, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Dragon Medical One).
Working Knowledge of Video conferencing equipment and engagement.
Awareness of NHS Information Governance principles.

Responsibilities

Produce and coordinate communication activities for digital projects.
Coordinate events and engagement sessions.
Advise on communications and engagement issues and write plans and projects.
Support the digital services team to plan, manage and deliver projects, including informative films.
Develop content for newsletters and intranet.
Provide timely briefings for stakeholders and monitor communications activities.
