Job summary

Nottinghamshire Police is seeking a Commercial Practitioner to join the Finance Department. You will develop procurement strategies, lead tenders and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have MCIPS (or working towards) or an equivalent qualification, and strong negotiation, risk and project management skills. Join a team focused on value for money and compliant procurement practices.

Qualifications

• Develop and deliver procurement strategies that support organisational priorities and deliver value for money.
• Lead procurement exercises, including tenders, RFQs and framework agreements.
• Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Work with contract owners to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
• Produce contracts and documentation in line with legislation and procurement regulations.
• Support commercial projects to improve efficiency and deliver sustainable benefits.
