Job summary

Vantage Recruitment is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Manager for a Derby based role with hybrid potential. You will deliver procurement advice, drive tender management across public and private sectors, and shape commercial strategies to deliver tangible benefits.

The role requires CIPS accreditation, a degree or equivalent, and strong communication and negotiation skills. NEC4 experience is a plus, and you will build networks inside and outside the business while supporting business

Qualifications

• CIPS accreditation and extensive procurement experience.
• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Proven track record in delivering tangible procurement benefits.
• Experience and application of NEC4 contracts (ideal).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive self-starter with strong relationship-building ability.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert procurement advice to clients.
• Deliver best practice procurement strategy, tender management and evaluation.
• Contribute to business cases, strategies and delivery models.
• Advise clients on contracts and commercial negotiations.
• Support business development through bids, RFPs and lead generation.
• Identify and develop new service offerings.
