Job summary

Sowena Group is seeking a Commercial Pricing Analyst in Lancashire to support pricing across new business, tenders, existing contracts and renewals. You will work closely with the Head of Pricing, Sales and Finance to ensure pricing is competitive, properly costed and aligned with margin expectations.

The role blends pricing analysis with active commercial duties, from quoting and tender submissions to renewal pricing, contract monitoring and price reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial pricing, bid management, commercial analysis or contract management in B2B services.
• Strong Excel and data modelling skills to assess margins.
• Understanding of profitability, cost structures and pricing principles.
• Experience with quotes, tenders, customer contracts or renewals.
• Ability to coordinate pricing schedules and SLAs.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good commercial judgement and capability to challenge pricing decisions.
• Strong communication with sales, finance and operations.
• Proactive in spotting trends and improving processes.
• Experience with CRM systems and Power BI advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pricing quotes for new opportunities and tenders.
• Manage renewals calendar and prepare pricing proposals.
• Analyse profitability by customer, product and region.
• Track ACV and assess impact of pricing changes.
• Support pricing models and assess cost/demand impacts.
• Analyse won/lost deals to improve quoting.
• Monitor competitor activity and pricing opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on price reviews.
• Support price increase programmes and track outcomes.
• Maintain SLAs and pricing schedules with Legal and Finance.
• Keep quotes, contracts, SLAs and renewal dates up to date.
• Ensure pricing data accuracy across systems.
• Produce pricing, margin and performance reports.
• Identify pricing trends and opportunities in data.
• Work with finance to understand costs and supplier pricing.
• Support process improvements and automation.
