Job summary

Sowena Group in Manchester is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our growing team. You will analyse data, identify trends and translate information into actionable insights to support business decisions.

Working with Finance and other internal teams, you will create reporting, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide commentary to drive commercial performance. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Commercial Analyst, Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas and data analysis.
• Strong Power BI experience with dashboard development and data visualization.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to translate data and analysis into meaningful commercial insight and recommendations.

Sowena are excited to be partnering with an established and growing business, based in Manchester to recruit for a Commercial Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and turning information into meaningful insight.

Working closely with internal teams, including Finance, you will produce, interpret and analyse reporting to provide a clear view of business performance. Importantly, you will go beyond reporting the numbers – identifying trends, highlighting risks and opportunities and providing commentary and recommendations that support better business decisions.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially curious, and confident working with Excel and Power BI.
