Job summary

Kingston Recruitment is assisting a well-established logistics client in appointing a Commercial Manager for a new division. Based in West Hull, the role focuses on owning commercial activity, driving sales performance, and elevating customer service to support growth.

You will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, manage key accounts, onboard new customers, onboard new customers, handle leads, and maintain the CRM.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial and sales background with ability to work autonomously and meet targets.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience managing customer accounts.
• Experience creating and running marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's sales and marketing strategy.
• Manage and grow the existing customer base, including key accounts.
• Prospect and onboard new customers.
• Handle new sales leads and freight enquiries.
• Maintain and update the CRM system.
• Plan, manage and monitor sales and marketing campaigns, reporting on performance and results.
