Job summary

ZEISS Vision Care UK is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner in Birmingham on a 6-month FTC. You will partner with the business, drive profitable growth and support customers in achieving their ambitions, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance.

The role focuses on customer financing, revenue growth and gross-margin improvement across commercial teams. You will deliver robust financial insight, challenge and governance, supporting strategy, budgeting and forecasting while

Qualifications

• Degree and professional accounting qualification required; ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• At least two years post-qualification experience in a commercially focused finance role.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions due diligence and business case development.
• Strong communication and ability to influence Board-level decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer financing activities: finance lead for customer lending from assessment to monitoring.
• Drive commercial business partnering: steer revenue growth and profitability through analysis.
• Support planning/forecasting: lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning cycles.
• Deliver insightful reporting: sales performance, variance analysis and commentary.
• Lead improvement projects: enhance controls, processes and reporting across teams.
• Strengthen governance: build MI and KPI suite for financing pipeline and revenue.
• Support strategy: evaluate new opportunities, product launches and business changes.
