Job summary

The Commercial Data Analytics Manager at AWE plc leads strategic and operational data management within the Commercial team, ensuring accuracy, availability and actionable insights for third-party spend decisions.

The role reports to the Principal Commercial Performance, Insights & Reporting Manager and drives data lifecycle governance, data quality, and analytics across systems, partnering with IT, Finance and Commercial teams to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven professional experience in a Commercial/Procurement function.
Experience in data operations and/or commercial analytics.
Proven experience in managing large datasets, data transformation and business intelligence tools.
Proficient in SQL, Excel and visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical insights into business language.

Responsibilities

Ensure Commercial teams have access to timely, accurate and relevant data for performance and strategic objectives.
Accountable for master data management of all commercial data across systems.
Manage the data lifecycle and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
Oversee data cleansing and maintenance to provide usable data for Commercial colleagues.
Liaise between Commercial, IT and Finance to align data strategy with business requirements.
Manage the Commercial Data Team.
