Job summary

AWE plc is seeking a Head of Commercial Insights, Process and Tools to define and deliver the strategic direction for data analytics, reporting, systems, and tools across the Commercial Function. The role leads a data-driven, digitally enabled commercial organisation, providing senior leaders with actionable insights and decision-support to maximise value for money and support the AWE Business Plan.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a commercial, procurement, supply chain, PMO, data & analytics, or similar function.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams across data, reporting and business processes.
• Experience owning end-to-end business processes and driving standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and governance bodies.
• Strong data governance, master data management and information management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for defining and delivering the data analytics, reporting, systems, process and tools strategy for the Commercial Function.
• Lead development of a data-driven, digitally enabled commercial organisation with actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Own commercial processes and tools, ensuring governance, quality, and compliance across government and industry requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end commercial data governance, performance reporting and benefit realisation.
• Collaborate with Commercial, IS and external partners to drive digital enablement of commercial processes.
• Lead high-performing teams and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across AWE, Government and external partners.
