Job summary

Capita is seeking a Collective Training Needs Analyst to shape training requirements for the British Army within the OMNIA consortium. The role focuses on analyzing operational data, developing dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve decision-making and operational readiness.

Qualified candidates will bring DSAT/JSP/ADDIE experience, strong analytics, and a collaborative mindset. Permanent, 37.5 hours/week, hybrid with 2–3 days in Warminster.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis and delivering practical solutions to complex requirements.
• Knowledge of DSAT or similar training design and development frameworks.
• Experience applying JSP 822, ADDIE, or equivalent methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for clear outputs.
• Proficient with training management systems such as DTMS or JTIMS.
• Excellent communication to influence diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse training, safety and operational data to identify trends and insights.
• Collect, validate and maintain data from multiple sources for reliable reporting.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and standardisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into analytical outputs.
• Mentor colleagues and promote high standards of analytical quality.
• Present findings through reports and briefings while ensuring security.
