Capita in Warminster is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn training, safety and operational data into actionable intelligence for the British Army. You will develop dashboards and reports, mentor colleagues, and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical outputs, while upholding data security and compliance.
This permanent, 37.5 hour role is hybrid, with 2–3 days in Warminster, and requires eligibility for UK Security Clearance at BPSS level.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll help transform how the British Army measures training performance, manages risk and drives continuous improvement. Working within the Insights, Guidance and Control (IGC) Cell, you'll turn complex data into actionable intelligence, support senior leaders with critical decisions, and help shape the future of collective training across the Army.
Permanent role - 37.5 hours a week. Hybrid role with 2 or 3 days a week in Warminster. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at BPSS level.
Analyse training, safety and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and actionable insights.
Collect, validate and maintain data from multiple sources to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
Develop and enhance dashboards, reports and visualisations that support senior decision-making and operational readiness.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, standardisation and better reporting processes.
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful analytical outputs.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on analytics tools, reporting best practice and data-driven decision making.
Mentor colleagues and promote high standards of analytical quality, consistency and continuous improvement.
Present findings clearly through reports, presentations and briefings while ensuring data security, confidentiality and compliance.
