Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) seeks a seasoned Technology Procurement professional to join Group Procurement, focusing on Database, Middleware and Enterprise Software. You will shape sourcing strategies and lead negotiations with global technology vendors to support infrastructure investments.

Working with Infrastructure Engineering and Finance, you will manage a portfolio of strategic suppliers, drive savings, risk management, and value realisation while aligning with LSEG's technology

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Technology Procurement, Category Management or Strategic Sourcing.
• Proven track record negotiating complex software agreements with global suppliers.
• Understanding of software commercial models (subscription/SaaS/perpetual/licensing).
• Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial strategies.
• Experience engaging senior engineering and business leaders.
• Experience in large, regulated organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies across databases, middleware and software.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and commercial negotiations with vendors.
• Manage renewals, licensing and optimisation programmes.
• Partner with engineering and other teams to evaluate technology options.
• Build relationships across LSEG and act as strategic commercial advisor.
• Drive governance, risk management and value realisation.
