Job summary

Arbuthnot Commercial Asset Based Lending Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Client Manager to own a portfolio of asset-based lending clients. You will balance risk management with outstanding relationship management, working closely with business owners and leadership teams to protect and grow the portfolio.

You will manage all clients in line with policy, deliver risk strategies, visit clients, review financial statements, and prepare reports for Portfolio Management.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in ABL/AR financing or similar environment.
• Strong analytical & financial analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at board level, maximizing client life and retention.
• Keep bad debts and client attrition to a minimum.
• Support sustainable and profitable growth of Arbuthnot Commercial ABL in pricing discussions.
• Understand risk drivers and monitor triggers ensuring risk is managed within Credit Policy.
