Job summary

Arbuthnot Latham is seeking an experienced Client Manager to own a portfolio of asset-based lending clients, balancing risk management with outstanding relationship management. You will work closely with business owners and leadership teams to protect and grow the portfolio while delivering high levels of service, expertise and commercial support.

The role focuses on managing client risk, maintaining accurate data, visiting clients, and presenting outcomes to the Portfolio Management Meetings.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in ABL/AR financing or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of ABL/AR product range, procedures, markets and industry sectors.
• Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to handle high work volumes with accuracy, quality and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of asset-based lending clients and manage risk while delivering high-quality service.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at board level to maximise life and retention.
• Ensure compliance with credit policy, documentation and reporting requirements; detect errors and potential fraud.
• Visit clients regularly, prepare reports and annual reviews with actionable recommendations.
• Support pricing discussions and contribute to sustainable growth of Arbuthnot Commercial ABL.
